The picture exactly shows how I feel right now. What shud I say about this "paradoxical" date ?? EXACTLY!! My ISC results were declared....and as expected I got my horrible 'First Class Without Distinction' marks !! Here's a secret.....this didn't come as a surprise to me....SURPRISE !!!!!!!! But yes....my parents and other close (read nosy) relatives were shocked. My day started at 7 AM. I was to get my VISA stamped passport from the VFS centre. So I started for Mahalaxmi at 8:30 AM and owing to the renowned "Mumbai-Traffic" reached my destination at 10:15 !! Then waited in the loooooong line outside the US Consulate only to be told that 2 more forms are to be filled.....THAT TOO BY 10::30 !!! Leave it to the "duo" (me n dad) to get jobs done REAL FAST! anyway...that was done and they told me to collect the passport at 5 PM. What to do till then ??

(In case u've forgotton...my ISC results would be declared soon....as it was 12:30)

So we all sat in the Car, drove to Veer Savarkar Marg and had lunch at 'Kamling', a fancy AND EXPENSIVE hotel beside THE AMBASSADOR hotel. FREAK FREAK !!!! One more hour and my result would be out (at 3 PM). Somehow supressing the vacuum that had been created in my stomach, though it was full of chopsuey, I managed to not think abt the results. Whiling way the time, we reached VFS at 3:30 PM. I got into line coz already 6-7 ppl were queued up to colect their passport (which'd be given away at 5 !!!). Talked with a few ppl in the line. Just like me they too were desperate to have a conversation to pass the time. It was 5 soon and by 5:15 i came out of VFS with my Passport. Parents were to wait outside. Saw mom chatting pleasantly on the phone - MY MOBILE PHONE !!! not good not good....i knew that wen she smiles and talks ON MY PHONE...i'm in trouble. I opened the door, didn't even have my seat and she goes, "Srinivas said u got ## %. U li'l #$^&#@*, @#@$%% and $#%@, don't u understand the importance of $^%#@^, bla bla !!

I lay there quietly listening !! And i'm still doing so....
